COFA student wins John Coburn Emerging Artist Award

Congratulations to COFA student Hyun-Hee Lee who has been awarded the John Coburn Emerging Artist Award in the Blake Prize 2012.

Hyun-Hee is currently studying a Master of Fine Arts.

Her winning work Homage documents her conversion from Buddhism to Catholicism.

The award is valued at $5,000 and was introduced in 2007 as a way to encourage emerging artists to challenge their art practice.
