Six Minute Soul Mate Invitation

COFA graduates and artist collective, Brown Council, will perform their hit performance Six Minute Soul Mate at this years Imperial Panda Festival.
Six Minute Soul Mate is a performance that explores the nature of love and romance within a contemporary quick fix culture. Utilising the structure of a real speed- dating night, Brown Council examines modern modes of courtship and investigates how it is that we attempt to perform intimacy in a society obsessed with speed.

Brown Council also have an exhibition opeing at the newly positioned Chalk Horse gallery. The gallery has only moved a little ways, just a little down the street, and is opeing with a bang. Join Brown council as they delve into Hollywood fear and horror, with their piece Runaway. In this performance/video members of the Brown Council reiterate the familiar sequence of a girl running from the camera while the artificiality, horror and violence, humour, entertainment and suspense are all played with and parodied.
