Australian design students are invited to submit entries to the Electrolux Design Lab 2014 contest.
The theme is Creating Healthy Homes, based on the Thinking Ahead report by Electrolux that estimated that 67% of the world population will be urban by 2050 and there will be 30 megacities by 2025.
Students compete for a six-month paid internship and a prize of 5,000 Euros by submitting innovative design ideas for the future home.
Entries close April 6.

This special event enables COFA students to preview the Richard Mosse exhibition, The Enclave, followed by a Q&A with the artist.
Be the first to see the acclaimed video installation straight from the Venice Biennale, and meet New York based artist, Richard Mosse, here at COFA on Friday, March 14.
Please note that the exhibition does not open to the public until the following day. This is a private viewing and chance to hear from the artist for COFA students only.

Archive_ is an artist run initiative in Newtown. They are currently looking for two new members to join their team.
The first role involves exhibition documentation and would best suit a photographer looking to build their portfolio in art documentation and to gain experience in the day-to-day running of an ARI.
The second role provides assistance with arts writing, event coordination and administrative work.

An international coffee brand is seeking outgoing students with a love for coffee, social media and uni life to become ambassadors.
As a brand ambassador, you will be given two coffee machines and a range of coffee capsules in various flavours. Your role is to get as many people as you can to sample the coffees. You will also create posts for social media.
You will be required to work for 1-3 hours per week for ten weeks and will be paid $1,000.

The NSW Police Force is inviting COFA students to participate in the Cops Are Tops bumper sticker design competition.
The winning design will be printed on thousands of stickers and distributed across the state at NSW Police Force events.

The award is open to emerging artists of all ages and disciplines that are residents in Australia and New Zealand. The winner will receive $10,000 prize money.
The Award and Finalists’ Exhibition in August will be held at Galleries UNSW, COFA.

Screen My Shorts is a 30 day global short film challenge.
Filmmakers, animators and documentary makers are invited to produce a 3 – 10 min short film on the theme: the Homeless. Entrants can explore subjects such as current refugee situations, LGBT intolerance, gambling and economic pressures.
On Fri, Apr 11 teams are randomly allocated a subject and line of dialogue to include in their short film. The final film will be submitted on Sun, May 11.
There is $10,000 worth of cash prizes on offer. More information.
